- ss (schutzstaffel): was a paramilitary organisation which in the beginning was responsible for the security of hitler and then later played a key role in the holocaust. the ss was forbidden after wwII a criminal orgaisation. - in the context with adolf hitler the "ss" ist surely not used in the "italian" way.
