- Rudel was pilot in the Wehrmacht and after WW II still convinced national socialist. After the war Rudel helped war criminals to flee from being imprisoned. He became a member of the rightextremist political party Deutsche Reichspartei. With other nazis in Argentina he protected the real identity of one of most wanted men world wide at this time: Josef Mengele.
